#155167 - then try MAX3158 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
What is wrong with sn75lbc176 or even old 75176 in my application - that is quiestion?
Nothing... as long as .. you do not need galvanic isolation .. you use 3 resistor termination .. you do not need a high CMRR (common mode rejection rarto) Linear have good prices (6.5USD) for LTC1535CSW , but - where to buy chips (no Digikey, no Mouser) - online minimum is 250USD+68USD Fedex - where to buy transformer - listed in datasheet are not listed in Digikey or Mouser. then try MAX3158 If You really are interested about galvanic isolation - i have 5 silos with weigh scales . Nobody cant guarantee what will happen in rainy day. a short/leak/whatever will hurt a galvanically isolated 485 bus just as much as a non-isolated. Erik |
