Secondly, in Hfe Vs Ic graph(Page2) Hfe for 1A is shown as 64 (approximately) which is not the same as in Electrical characteristics?

Using MOSFET would be a better solution and i can try that next. But iam interested in finding the answers for the questions i have, on the method i approached.
