#154103 - An osci can tremendously help Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Usually you feed an external watchdog by using a certain port pin emitting high to low and low to high transitions within the watchdog timeout period. During intesive testing this pattern should be checked by the help of an osci. Is the pulse pattern changing, jumping or elsewhere strange behaving?
If the watchdog feeding pulse pattern is complex it can be helpful to programm another free port pin, emitting a brief low pulse at the start of progamm and this to use as trigger signal for the osci. Kai |
