#152677 - Interesting Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Yikes ... looks like something interpreted the subscripted 'i' as an HTML italics tag. Is that the forum software doing that, or my browser (Firefox), or ??? No, that'd be a forum bug. I was working on moving towards a bbcode approach to HTML tags where codes are bracketed rather than using pure HTML code. The use of subscripts in code looking like bbcode is not something that had crossed my mind. I can (and should) certainly disable bbcode within PRE tags, but it also seems that this could present a problem outside of PRE tags. Actually, I think I just need to make the logic smarter so that bracketed bbcodes are not interpreted as such unless there's a matching closing tag. Thanks for catching that. Regards, Craig Steiner |
