#152381 - Some things are far from perfect
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Jan said:
nothing is perfect ... neither is Bray's. But, only a few windows programs in general can keep up with receiving data at high rates (e.g. 115k2 with no spaces between successive characters) - IIRC, hyperterminal fails spectacularly in this respect, too.

True enough. But when its Receive window is set for HEX display, Bray's program drops characters with incoming data as slow as 1200 baud!!! That's far enough from perfect that I thought a warning was in order here. I spent a day or two chasing my tail because of this problem; there's no need for others to do the same.
