#152281 - I have had some luck! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The data sheets I have found and downloaded so far just give connection details which are probably enough to allow me to connect to my board safely.
In fact a pdf data sheet I have found on the Powertip device suggests one is a 4004 A series and the data sheet has the same information as in the Hitachi book and only refers to one Enable line. Also it lists a Vee line on pin 16 as a negative voltage generator, details of which I can not find within the data sheet for that device but I assume is there to generate a neg voltage for extended temperature use and therefore greater adjustment of viewing angle! The Vertronics pdf matches one of my displays as a MDL(S)40466 and shows the E1 and E2 pins but again does not give me a clue as to using the two lines hence my initial questions as to could I drive them together, why two lines etc. I will try to hook one of them up soon and play!
