#151317 - Wireless Remote Control update Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I hacked a cheap car alarm, it has 2 small medalion transmitters and one small control box with rf receiver and relays. Fortunately the microcontroller was similar to PIC16F84-04 so I recorded the signals generated at the receiver output when each key was pressed, wrote assembly code to decode transmitter keys and used them to turn relays on or off to turn my robot on or off without modification to the PCB of the car alarm or my motor control.
There is still more work to be done on the robot but I'm getting there. Mahmood |
