#150372 - It depends Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Ap
If you mean by 3rd axis up and down of the head (elivation angle) then you don't need it because by controlling the speed of the ball launching head motor you control the distance the ball lands on the table. Adding a motor to control it is fancy but I think it is an overkill. However I'm going to add an axis to control the head left and right (swing) to give more options for training and fun. The main objective of this robot is to train humans by repeating the same shot over and over for the player to strengthen his / her weakness and gain fitness. I think my playing already improved alot and soon I'm gonna beat my brother and his friends for I started playing attack all the time. I'm having so much fun building and using this robot. It is still having teathing problems but working on it towards perfection. May be I can start a business selling it too. Mahmood |
