#150238 - Table Tennis Robot |
Since I retired 2 months ago I started doing interesting things.
I designed and built 2 table tennis robots, one for me and one for my good friend for we both need to sharpen our table tennis skills. I always thought that mechanical engineering was too easy! I will publish some video of the amazing robot working on youtube soon, but here is a picture of the Robot which shows the ball launching head (yellow box on top and ball loading mechanism behinde the balls inside the bucket(rubbish bin really). I made simple electronics control for ball speed/spin and ball frequency to start practicing ping pong quickly. Next stage I will control it with microcontroller and add swing to the head and remote control capabilities. |
