#150849 - suppress RF emissions from resonances? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

An RC snubber may be needed to suppress RF emissions from resonances linked to the motor inductance. Thank you. But iam not clear with the above statement. Can i get some explaination about it? What i understood from the above statement is: when the motor inductance shows resonance condition(depending its reactance), it 'emits RF' without snubber, and adding snubber avoids that RF emission. Is that correct? If so, i guess supression is done "only" for getting controlled EMI in our circuit. Iam i right or, you meant to say some thing else? Suresh. |
