What I find odd is the 3-4 day delivery from U.S. to Canada, with 2-3 weeks from Canada to U.S. Likewise, mail travels out pretty fast, while incoming seems to encounter a 10-day delay. It's been that way since before "Homeland Security" so I believe it's systemic.
... and you've not encountered that sort of thing to/from Mexico? Back in 1995, I found mail typically took two weeks in either direction to/from Mexico. And I sent and received dozens of snail mails to Mexico so it was a pretty good sample set. We sent a Christmas card to Colombia last month, back around December 15th. It was just received today. So that's about 4 weeks to Colombia right now. Regards, Craig Steiner |
