#149412 - From Denver
Responding to: ???'s previous message
From Denver, I used to observe a typical delivery time of 2 weeks to Mexico. I haven't done any postal shipping to Mexico lately, but I've found that it takes about a week in either direction from the points in Europe I've mailed (UK, France, Spain, Italy).

I've been quite impressed with postal services lately. I think--both in the U.S. and abroad--postal services are being forced to compete with the likes of UPS and Fedex and other parcel services. As such, postal services are being forced to improve or or to die. It seems they've been choosing the former.

I've sent a normal first class letter on a Saturday half way across the country and had it delivered on Monday. It cost a stamp. That would've cost something like $15 via Fedex. Might not be typical and definitely isn't guaranteed, but I was impressed.

Regards,
Craig Steiner
