If you buy an armored car and put your uC inside it, you can park the armored car right next to the heavy Industrial DC motor.
If you have your PCB in open air, you may have to move it a mile away from the heavy Industrial DC motor. everything is a compromise I am curious "DC motor" and "CT" which I read as "current transformer".
