#147692 - I dont require precision...

With the data shown above if this is a scale and I buy a kg of sugar either I or the shopkeeper will be cheated by up to 80g.

you can compensate for linearity errors to a great extent
you can not compensate for repeatabiliity errors
you can compensate for hysteresis errors to some extent

with some VERY well designed code you MAY achieve a precision of ~4%, I can see no one interested in such a product.

Maybe I am totally off the rocker here and whatever you are making (why so secretive, we can help much better if you tell) will be quite satisfactury with such a lack of precision, if that is so, do tell.

Erik

A precision of 5% is enough for the application , I asked for Reference of 0.05% , as a standard reference to be used with all kind of sensors with the 'F206. Other sensors require precise readings though . I have stated in thread below: http://www.8052.com/forumchat/read.phtml?id=147680
that the sensor is being used for Braking application for a fuzzylogic control system , I dont require precision but to make this sensor enough accurate (within 2 to 5%) for the low cost application , I know precise pressure sensors ranges from 500US$ to 800US$ .
