#147254 - I do
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Is anyone using a Vinculum device, and in particular,
the Vinculum VDrive2? Any caveats, advice?

I developed my software using a SILabs devboard and a Vdrive2. Then I started with a Vinculum on my board.
1) the Vdrive (and the Vinculum) works wonderfully.
2) I use them in UART mode.
3) The documentation STINKS as to completeness, what is there is mostly correct.
4) Because of 3) I had to develop the code by "do first step, see what the respoinse is, then do 2nd step, see what the response is ...".
5) re 4) make sure that all 'unexpected' (parts of) responses are detected and go to somewhere where you can see what happened, if you change the contents of the stick after first working case, you will most likely go there and have to change something.
6) Re 5) it get stable after about 3 different stick contents.
7) No, I can not give you the code.
8) If you stall while developing this, post and I will help to my best ability.

Erik
