Raghu sir, firefox at my PC at home always works fine, but when I connect the same to my laptop, firefox will say "Looking up ....". Fortunately, I will ring up to the customer care, and they guys will help me out.
One of the preliminary checks is try to "ping" your default gateway. For BSNL broadband connection, it is usually 192.xxx.1.1. If that ping succeeds, then atleast your LAN is fine, and then DNS should be proper. |
