#146846 - I will not do it now. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear friends,
OK thats exactly what I wanted to know : That the voltage rating is equally important as the current rating. As a saving grace the machine under commissioning developed a mechanical problem, giving me a breather and I am arranging for 415 V relays with 24V coils. ( And afterall I didn't have to take the blame for holding up the machine ;-)) Kai, the machine control circuit is not at 415V ac ! Its a Star-Delta starter for a 22KW motor and the unit has its own push buttons for start/stop. And hence the contactors are all with 415V AC coils. The problem arose when the client wanted remote start / stop suddenly. Yes Muniraj your suggestion is correct. But all these switches are for a 22mm cutout. My switches are all 16mm cutouts. |
