Is pulse dialling still do-able ? Yes, if you're on a direct BT exchange line; For anything else (Cable, 21CN, whatever), you'd have to RTFM to check... For the other systems, there's probably some sort of adaptor box that provides a "POTS-like" interface to your phone, and converts this to whatever other signalling the rest of that network uses - so it all depends on whether the adaptor box supports Pulse dialling... aka "Loop-Disconnect", or "LD" for short |
