The high-density makes soldering individual wires to the connector very fiddly (ie, expensive). Currently, I prefer to use insertable contacts - but it's still labour-intensive. These are all either inserted-pin, or PCB types... I s'pose a little adaptor PCB to an IDC header might do it... |
