..but this behaviour can be observed in other fields aswell. Here on this forum it appears just as too obvious.
I'm still a student, yes, but almost finished, while I'm typing this, I *should* continue typing the text of my diploma thesis but well, it's around noon and time for a break here ;) In case this is of value in this discussion, I'm not a professional electronics engineer, I actually study business informatics but got interested in embedded systems some years ago and decided to drop the boring economics stuffs as far as possible. My thesis deals with adding some sensors to a robot hand interfacing them to the rest of the roboter's system via CAN Bus. Communications control is via a T89C51CC02 mcu which performs very well for me. But enough of that... What I have observed with fellow students is that all those who really show interest in something, work for themselves to get the knowledge and ask specific questions. Those who just have to do soemthing they don't like, tend to ask for more complete solutions. Maybe some of the "gimme code" posters fell into the latter category but all in all I have very mixed feelings with this. Matthias |
