In fact, you should understand all the details of every component you're using before doing anything. However, if you ask for the datasheet from within your organization, won't it simply indicate that you're taking an interest in your work, rather than blindly performing only what you're directed to do? So ... you believe in putting the most important and crucial things off until the last moment? Why does it need to be informed in the beginning without any necessity to ask a simple datasheet that i need to refer? Are you afraid of your supervisor? Is there a reason why you should be? If you've done what you've been directed to do, your supervisor should have no objection to you looking and planning ahead. And on my part, i dont think its going to be of any use on going further in this matter.
But i would thank you for the interest you took in advising me on doing things! Suresh. If you're employed where they don't allow you to think ahead, it's high time you looked for a place to work where you can use your imagination and creativity, as well as the rigorous skills you've been taught. If you've completed what you have been assigned for today, it's important to know ahead of time what hurdles you'll have to clear tomorrow. If you haven't, then perhaps you're misdirecting your efforts. If you are on schedule, or ahead of it, with your work, and your boss doesn't like you to think and plan, then you should devote the extra time you have to the business of finding a job somewhere where your interest and initiative will be appreciated. With all the work that's being off-shored from the U.S. to Asia, you should have no trouble finding a better job. RE |
