In this case, you've let days go by without sending them a request for data.
Iam not stucked with my work for not having a datasheet. How can you do ANYTHING without ALL the information you need? It looks as though it will lead to trouble! Iam just new to my work place where i was informed of the LCD they were using. It seems as though NOW is the time to ask for all underlying documentation. So i thought i could get familiar with it by the time i start my work with it. If you don't need it NOW, why are you asking for it HERE? The company I am in may have the datasheet of that LCD but, if I go and ask they would certainly say "why you need them now. It may also change" since I haven't come to that module. So ... you believe in putting the most important and crucial things off until the last moment? Requesting here also yielded only contact details and, hence, I thought of exercising them in few days time. It seems like a very politicized and unprofesisonal way to do things. I'd never dream of starting a job until all the detailed requirements are at hand. Remember, all the requirements have to be firmly agreed and signed off before the first line of code or first page of schematic is begun. The user manual has to be off to the printer before then, too. That way you can write the test specifications. Those need to be complete before the first hardware design or coding effort is begun. Suresh.
