The "progress" lies in the fact, that while up to now the "code readout" was offered as a "service", here one can buy a device "reader". It is not visible directly from this page, but they have a "solution" for AVRs, too (go there via the menu). I would like to read a qualified comment from some insider from the chipmakers, other than that rather ridiculous disclaimer Microchip puts into each datasheet since some time... JW |
