The reason for using flowcharts is usually to take advantage of the 2-dimensional graphical representation over the essentially 1-dimensional text - thus it seems a tad backwards (to me, at least) to use a text representation to create a flowchart!

Seems a bit like drawing a schematic by typing-in the netlist!

However, where the flowchart is the end in itself (as was the case here), it certainly does sound like a good tool!
