For example to find out if some chip really contains version 1.03 of the firmware and not version 1.03beta (which, due to sloppiness, also reports its version to be 1.03).
Who cares, you just download the one you want. If it is to see if a bug exist on one, not the other, download one test then download the other and test. The whole point is that - as I stated in my previous post, if it is NOT theft, the process is unnecessary. Erik |
