SiLabs is pretty quick and their tech people are not the usual sales 'droids.
My experience with Philips (now NXP) was the same as you guys have described with NXP. I suppose that's because it's basically still the same organization. What I like to tell people who ask about volume projections is that, once we have the product perfected, we'll use 1k units per week until the market is saturated. It usually takes 'em a while to realize that I've effectively told 'em nothing. They're normally not able to tell me more than that either. RE |
