The way to get excellent support is somehow to get hold of a second or third line responder, convince him you are not a bungling amateur and get a 'personal lifeline'. That, at least works very well for me at NXP, SILabs and a few other places. With Silabs I have noticed that the first 2 to 3 e-mails they ask you some basic questions (things that you would have already explained in your earlier e-mails) and then they work really hard in getting the issue resolved. Again some support staff give out their contact phone number and some do not. I am glad that they atleast respond to my e-mails quickly. |
