I know you are short of time, but maybe you could at least have a look at the following suggestions, maybe some of it won't require more than a few minutes... - could the search sort messages by the scores first (as an option)? - couldn't the flat view display only the yet unread messages (to spare bandwidth - and speed up forum reading) plus the '1 2 3...' hyperlinks to display the full pages? The messages table could be cut down in the same way, too. For an extremely cutdown version, maybe even all the left-side menu, votes, header/footer etc. could be omitted (I underdstand that the ads still have to remain)...
