... a couple of more complex operations would do, won't it?
Adding two floating point numbers, perhaps, or calculate a sin and throw away the result? There's not too much which can be optimised in that... And if you use floating anyway, this won't add too much in code - I'd assume it'd call a library function, does not do inlining... :-) JW |
