It depends what sort of stuff you want to put into it but if you look at the kits section of that on-line shop you'll find some which are capably of lifting large loads.All of them use parachutes which pop out at the highest point of the flight and the motors are basically cardboard tubes filled with black powder so they are reusable.You buy the kit and then you buy as many of the motors that you want.
The one my friend is making is bigger and more complex but thats because hes trying to get very high,its got a custon built engine and its got an active stabalising system which makes it always point upwards.As I keep telling him its not the size of your rocket but what you do with it that counts, ha ha ;-) I'll certainly post my video transmitter and receiver circuit on here although it uses an atmega you'll have to pretend its an 8052 :-) |
