After some more research, I think I'm going to use the method described in the Microchip App Note.
If I use a (total) gain of 100 over the two op-amp stages, and run it into a 12bit ADC, I'll have roughly 30bits for a 10*C span. That will also allow me to measure up to the 1250*C max temperature for a Type K TC. If I can be accurate to 5*C, I'll be happy. Thanks for all the suggestions, -Dave |
