For those who haven't googled for, or don't care who, Rodney Brooks is, he's the director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT.
The whole point of my original post in this thread is that it doesn't matter a wit who you know or who you've interacted with. The only legitimate claim to fame you have is what you yourself have done. (For what it's worth, Rodney Brooks is one helluva nice guy.) |
