#126718 - Hendrix or McCartney Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Again Jan,
Actually, if Hendrix played it, it was "My Country Tis of Thee." If Paul McCartney played it, it was "God Save The Queen." Joe By the way, while Hendrix may have played "My Country Tis of Thee" (or "God Save The Queen," depending on where he was standing when he played it), his best known such performance was when he played "The Star Spangled Banner" (the U.S. anthem), with feedback. I believe it was part of his Woodstock performance. Are you sure that isn't the performance you're thinking of? |
