While it's not hard to enjoy a good curry, I suspect it would work out best if they have someone from here do the work via the 'net. That's outsourcing, of course, but it doesn't involve immigration, and it doesn't involve changing living circumstances or diet. While I imagine it would be appealing, financially if in no other way, to have the Brittish healthcare system available, as individual health insurance for a mid-40's sort of guy costs about $500/month here, it might work out better for all concerned if they do things that way.
