Hello Reinhard Vogg, Just go to your main library and use their Holidex simulator like they use to do on Star Trek next generation TV show. Or maybe just maintain a separate DOS computer for these old programs. That's what I do. I find developing on it quicker and easier than the Windows stuff. When I have something that works on that I then develop it on Windows usually C++ or Visual Basic. Usually it fights every step of the way because you are missing some DLL file or don't understand some obscure point. Regards, Charles Bannister Start with syntax ... Holidex??? What's that? My kids used to comment about the Enterprise's "HOLODECK". They figured that out when they were 8 and 10. Then there's the "use to" which clearly should have been "used to" instead. then there's the grammar ... Weren't you taught that one doesn't start a sentence with a conjunction (And, Or, But, ... etc). Just what help was Reinhard Vogg, the O/P, supposed to derive from your remark? The "cute" comment about "Star Trek, The Next Generation" didn't help a thing, and it didn't help your image, either. RE |
