#121118 - He's not the only one, however Responding to: ???'s previous message |
There have been so many posts that looked like, "My homework's due in a couple of hours! Please do it for me! I'm desperate!" and were never followed by any further participation from the O/P despite the abundant replies providing what he wanted. Now, I don't encourage doing the guy's homework or his thinking for him, but, if people provide answers, normally one would say, "Oh ... Gee ... so that's how it's done ... Thanks!" rather than just going away. We don't even get many of the ones that say, "Oh F___ you guys. I don't see why you won't do my doctoral thesis for me so I can go out there and eventually become your boss." I think this is because they believe they'll get a response within a minute or two, as they do on interactive chat lines.
They need to be made aware that the service, while sometimes very quick, is not "while you wait," like having your pants pressed or your shoes shined. RE |
