I don't agree with everything you wrote.
I like programming and building HW. That's why I'm involved in this. I understand and agree with you that learning is about failing, asking and some head aches. I'm sure about two things... First, you have a lot of experience in both areas: HW and SW and second, you'd never got there without help from teachers, experts or books. Now... we have Internet and you use it. What I'm saying is that there are times when you can't find answers in books or you can't find your teacher so you come to Inernet and ask. What I tried to say is that the code will not solve your problem, it will just help you isolate problems. If your car dies at 3:00 am on the highway and nobody can help you... how do you know if the problem is the fuel pump or the electric system?? After someone comes and shows you that the wire is not connected, then you learn... next time it wont happen. That is learning. Other way, your car will stay there for eternity... or robbery...as your SW and HW. |
