Anything that adds to the room SPL (sound pressure level) is a BAD way to go -- unless your intent is to cancel it out like active noise reduction. But here (hear) we are talking about making a loud, albeit inaudible, sound, audible.
It's like the old adage about how it's impossible to monitor something without affecting the something in a little way. The little the better. GB |
