From just a quick look at the LPC932, which has a 2-clk core:
drive bit 1 nop drive bit 0 That alone with a 12Mhz clock in a perfect world might produce a 167ns pulse. How can you possibly hit 200ns with this? Why not try running the LPC932 @ 10 MHz - that should give you 200ns burst pulse using your above code. Unfortunately, with the LPC, that's all you'll be able to do at this speed ie: no horsepower left to do anything else! Dallas or Silabs may be of help where you need more 'grunt'. Valentin |
