#116946 - PCs alone Responding to: ???'s previous message |
PCs alone will suffice.
http://www.usagewatch.org/2005/08/h...cs_ar.html says, there were >800E6 PCs around by the end of 2004. I'd bet it's well over 1E9 by now. There are at least 5 processors in each PC today ("the" processor, one in keyboard, one in mouse, one keyboard controller (yes, still 8042) embedded in chipset and one in monitor). Maybe less in laptops, but add those in each USB gadget you connect, (true)modems, various routers etc.etc. I'd bet mobile phones alone would suffice, too. Jan Waclawek |
