#116422 - Thanks for the responce, but... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Charles,
Nobody is keeping track anymore, no stars, no running total. So it really shouldn't matter. You could have avoided negative votes on your post by simply stopping at the first one or two sentences, but instead you went on to attack the person that gave us this forum in the first place, and then attack people that make the majority of the posts. This is the most active forum I've ever been in, others could be days before anyone responds if at all. These people make this forum what it is, and I think it's great. No, I don't agree with the way some talk down to others, simply because they are more experienced or know more, but people are different, no one can be liked by everybody. Yes I've seen posts where some person did not make himself clear (because of the language barrier) and it generated an unfair negative response. I didn't necessarily like it and could tell by who responded in the thread and who was logged in at the time, who did it. They have every right to vote how they see fit. I voted positive to help offset it. I believe everyone should be given a chance, it's the ones that keep doing it after they've been told that deserve the negative votes. Since the karhma system was dropped I haven't seen an excess of positive votes to any one person making them look anybetter than anyone else. As far as censoring, I only recall one post that was removed recently, and a few closed because of duplication. I don't know what else to say but, "Can't we all just get along here?", I know world peace is out of the question. Jon |
