#100082 - the life of a relay Responding to: ???'s previous message |
but I persume now that relaibility of relays is much higher than Triacs.
the life of a relay will be shorter if it is * underrated * grossly overrated * without arc suppression * not driven hard enough (e.g. 240V relay driven by 200V during a brownout) treat your relay well and the service will be excellent. Erik With a 220VAC motor, I suspect we are talking about a contactor. Anyone know the definition of a contactor vs a relay? I'm curious |
