even with a triac you still need a relay. I have never done triac on/off for motors, but with an inverter (variavble speed drive) rules and regulations require that OFF is by relay.
If your concern is very frequent on.off cdycles and you still want an electronic on/off after the relay, BUY ONE. There is an inordinate amount of "know how" in these devices. Erik |
