A quick google search for AD574A alternates came up with a Maxim device, MX574A. Checked the PDIP version pinout, same as AD574A. Did not look at other form factors. Pricing on the Maxim site indicates approx $14 / 1K. Did not compare all the specs but it seems the MX574A might be a bit faster on conversions.
