ISTR that General Instruments made a PIC, albeit one in a DIL-40 package back in the early days of the 8048, the 805x's precursor.
I never used one, though I have seen 'em. My main interest in GI back then was in keyboard encoders, which they (GI) produced en-masse. RE |
