#185628 - Just a question of preferences Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Pinout doesn't matter much. It's just a preference if you happen to know a specific processor or not.
The Atmel AVR chips are also very easy/fun to program in assembler. But in the end, a huge percentage of all projects can use just about any (reasonably cheap) processor architecture out there. The only disadvantage with the 8051 is that it doesn't scale well if you need really much code space or RAM space. |
