It's also important to make sure that you do not get clipped values.
If you have an input signal 0-5V, it might actually have a max of 5.05V, while your 5V voltage reference might be 4.95V, clipping the end of the scale. Same thing has to be taken into account when scaling the signal for a 3.3V ADC. |
