Indeed, and especially etc, etc. In my own case, I'm only talking about boards that I've designed and built, but even though those other issues don't apply, it's still seldom worth the risk. My out of pocket cost to make a new PWB is typically $35 to $50 dollars in materials, and several hours of work. I've learned from experience that the few dollars I might save by trying to reuse parts isn't even close to worthwhile. It's a Siren's song of deceit. Joe |
