#183615 - Sourcing 8051s from old electronics? |
Hey guys: newbie here, with a question. I've read in multiple places that 8051-clones are the #1 embedded microcontroller in consumer devices, and that they're found in all kinds of peripherals (keyboard encoders etc). My question is: is it possible to pull 8051s from discarded electronics, and repurpose them? Any tricks to identify an 8051? |
