I don't want to use the remote.
If I understand you correctly, I would be sending the pseudo-remote codes along the same RXD line as I program on. This would require me to break a connection on the board, add some logic to switch between "remote commands" and "terminal commands", and control this logic from the 232 cable with an extra line (ring indicator, or something). I'm not sure that this is as easy as you think, and it would still display the prompts from the remote control commands while operating. |
